Brotherly Love Arts Company, LLC,
is an arts and entertainment company founded by Cyrus K. Stratton in 2024. With a passion for painting, art therapy, social justice, and drag, Cyrus K. Stratton hopes to use this platform to showcase how visual and performance art can be healing both for participants and viewers.
"The beauty of sharing my art with my community is to inspire reflection and contemplation on its content and purpose. My art has evolved into a combination of visual and performance arts to call attention to the marginalization that exists at the intersections of Blackness and queerness. Drag as an artform can impact audience members and performers alike, by creating a space where gender euphoria is celebrated. Even in an "alternative" environment, such as the drag community, kings and AFAB performers remain the most marginalized under patriarchal structures. My work aims to break these structures and create opportunities for Black, AFAB, and queer artists to be celebrated and to thrive. My time spent meticulously curating an acrylic portrait of a person to give archivable life to their humanity is one of my greatest joys." - Cyrus K. Stratton
